It runs on Funtouch 10 based on Android 10. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with  8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. In terms of the camera capabilities, Vivo Y50 includes a quad rear camera that comprises of a 13-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle lens with 120 degrees of field view (FoV). Further supported by a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits and a 2-megapixel macro lens. While on the front there is a 16-megapixel sensor housed inside a hole-punch display for taking selfies and video calling. The new device boasts a 5,000mAh battery and does not include any fast charging support. For connectivity, there is 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port. While the sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
