Realme 2 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench and the listing shows that the smartphone sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 Pie. It is being speculated that the device that has surfaced on Geekbench is Realme 2 Pro because the company’s software build numbers start with RMX. And the only smartphone by Realme to be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC is the Realme 2 Pro. Since the update has been spotted on Geekbench now, it seems like it will come sooner than we thought it would. But then, we should also hope that the testing phase is not a very prolonged one and stays bug-free.
To recall, Realme 2 Pro features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen to body ratio of 90.8 percent. Powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU, Realme 2 Pro is available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options and comes with up to 128GB storage. The smartphone can hold a microSD card of up to 256GB and it houses a 3,500mAh battery. Realme 2 Pro smartphone sports a 16-megapixel sensor on its back panel along with a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front panel. Much like all other smartphones that have been launched recently, Realme 2 Pro’s camera app comes with AI enhancements for the portrait mode, multi-frame noise reduction, and scene recognition. The Chinese smartphone brand had launched the Realme 2 Pro handset in India in September 2018. While the starting price of the smartphone was Rs 13,990, its most high-end variant costed Rs 17,990.
