The Moto Z4 carries a codename ‘foles’ and it will compatible with the Moto Mods. Although the official launch dates haven’t been revealed by the company yet but since the device was spotted on the listing it is expected to launch soon. The US FCC listing of the Moto Z4 was spotted by XDA Developers and on the listing the device held a model name T56X62.

The reports also state that the Moto Z4 will be powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 675 SoC. It will be paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It will also come in two storage variants, one with 64GB (Samsung KLUCG4J1ED or SK Hynix H28U73401AMR chip) and the other with 128GB (Samsung KLUDG8V1EE chip) UFS 2.1 storage. But other than that, the support for microSD card is not known. The Moto Z4 will reportedly pack a 3,600mAh battery and will come with an 18W charger. The smartphone will reportedly be sporting a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ panel. The recent leaks specify that it will pack a water-drop notch housing the front camera. The Moto Z4 will also be housing an in-display fingerprint scanner from Goodix. It will run Android 9 Pie out of the box and will support Moto Mods as many phones in the Moto Z-series.

As mentioned above, the Moto Z4 will be packing a 48MP main rear camera with S5KGM1SP from Q Technology. The new technology will help employ pixel binning to take shots at 12MP. In addition to this, it will reportedly have a 25MP (Samsung S5K2X5) front camera. There might be more than one variants of the Moto Z4 – one might be a single SIM device, while the other might house dual-SIMs. There also might be NFC connectivity in the Moto Z4. At first, the device will be launching in the US, then will make its way to other markets of the world.
