According to Huawei’s Director of consumer business mobile phones, He Gang, the company would not make the Mate X foldable phone public without meeting quality requirements. In support of this, the company’s executive stated that the Huawei Mate X is still going through optimization to meet the Huawei’s tough and superior requirement before the launch of the handset. On a Chinese portal, news.mydrivers.com Gang stated that “It’s actually taking a lot longer and is requiring more effort than initially anticipated. And if it doesn’t meet those requirements, we won’t put out the phone”. After going through various tests, the foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X has passed 3C certification and network access license. He Gang said “Everyone should be very clear that Huawei’s quality requirements are very demanding. If it does not meet the quality requirements, it will not let the products go on the market.” Recently, a report surfaced on the internet that revealed the new design enhancement of the Huawei Mate X. The images of the foldable smartphone were shared on the Chinese website Weibo. According to a report, a journalist met Huawei CEO Richard Yu at an Airport in China and the CEO revealed the enhanced Huawei Mate X to the journalist. The pictures of the smartphone feature a fourth camera place along with other cameras on the rear panel. This is expected to be the Time of Flight sensor camera that was earlier hidden or it has now been added while the device was being re-engineered. The display screen seems much better and the Huawei Mate X has gotten rid of the unattractive fold screen bumps. The shared images also show it with a bigger button that will be used to unfold the smartphone visible on the upper foldable part of the Huawei Mate X. In addition to this, the central spine implemented the Falcon Wing mechanism has now been covered with a texture-type material.
